Histories Of Betrayal In Argentina. An Approach To The Experience Of Militanst Of Montoneros And The Prt-Erp

Abstract

In every militar organization, betrayal it´s considered a crime
that it’s severely punished and Montoneros and PRT-ERP, seventies
argentinian revolutionary organizations, were no exception
to this rule. This paper explores the meanings that these
organizations assigned to betrayal and delation, understanding
that these words adopted different meanings according
to specific contexts. It also pays attention on some militants
experience, that were accused and condemned for betrayal
considering the type of offense and the penalty established
by every political community that they belong to. The analysis
of betrayal in revolutionary left organizations allows us to study
different elements of political culture and history of these
communities, making visible the way operated revolutionary
justice.
