Reception And Critique Of The Historical Library Of Diodorus Siculus. Historiographical Considerations About Its Problems Of Originality And Quality As A Source

Abstract

This paper provides an analysis of the reception and criticism
on the Historical Library of Diodorus Siculus. For this purpose,
the main problems about its veracity, originality and usefulness
as a source are noted. From such a state of matter from
the ancient world to today is provided, realizing how paradigms
of cultural history have allowed their signification from
credible character in the source.
