Abstract

The central problem of this article is the relationship between politics
and economy in the German tradition of political thought.
In this context and within the economic phenomena in Germany,
the State is presented as a guiding, regulatory or interventionist
body, among others. In the period covered by this research, the
relationship between state and economy in germany presents a
history of political reflections from kameralismus to the influence
of liberalism and modern economic politics. the ideas of authors
such as: Ludwig von Seckendorff, Johann Heinrich Gottlob von
Justi, Adam Smith, Johann Gottlieb Fichte, Adolph Wagner, Gustav
Schmoller, Ludwig Brentano and Joseph Alois Schumpeter will be
given special emphasis.
